1. Do I need an appointment?

We do accept walk-ins however we recommend scheduling in advance so we can reserve that time for you. We typically book our appointments every 15 minutes, so please be early or on-time to avoid losing your spot. If you are running behind or are not able to keep your appointment, we appreciate a call at least 24 hours in advanced.

2. Does waxing hurt?

It hurts more the first time than any other time because you are pulling out 100% of the hair, you’re probably a little tense and you don’t know what to expect. As you wax on a regular basis, your hair gets thinner and more sparse so the pain is a lot less. We promise. Plus, our estheticians work quickly and are trained in techniques that minimize the discomfort associated with waxing.

3. How long does the waxing last?

Hair grows in stages and it also depends on the area, so it’s hard to predict. Most clients come once a month for areas such as bikini or legs, and every two weeks for areas like underarms.

4. Will I have a reaction to waxing?

Everybody’s skin reacts differently. It’s common to be pink/red for a couple of hours or even up to a day or two in areas with thick dense hair. We review your current skin condition before waxing and give you many options to reduce the reaction afterward.

5. Why should I wax?

Waxing is a hygienic way of getting rid of unwanted hair. It is usually painless and will make your skin feel soft. It also lasts longer than shaving and your hair grows back finer over time.
